Rod`s Steak House in Williams

First time in Williams and had a great meal here. My husband keeps raving about his ribeye 3 days later. I loved the charm and it reminded me of steakhouses from my childhood. I don't eat meat, so had the soup and salad, plus a potato and the special margarita. All good!

Atmosphere was nice salad and bread were good. Prme rib was great but steaks were tough and needed seasonings.

Not at all impressed with Rods. Took over a hour to get our food. Steak was tough and had a bad flavor. Very disappointed.

We had so much fun. All the employees made everything special for the Anderson 52nd wedding anniversary. Best prime rib ever. My life long friends. I was part of their wedding so this meant a lot and have pictures too. Thank you all.

I know times are tough and try to understand. I'm 62 and my dad took me to Rod's when I was little. Always loved there stakes especially when I was a little kid and it was in the shape of a cow with I understand they still have. But I thought the size of the stakes where on the very small size for the price. And had to wait for almost an hour for them. And the place was not that busy.

Nice historic steakhouse on route 66. Friendly staff. Worth the stop.

The steaks are da bomb, rolls are dry, salad was alright, great staff and service. Would recommend this spot anytime if your looking for something to do in Downtown Williams. CHECK IT OUT!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would our server Xavier was the worst server my family and I have ever had! Rude disrespectful!! Dont waste your time for a grizzle patty steak!!

The atmosphere here was great, and the desserts we ordered were delicious too; however, the top sirloin we ordered wasn’t particularly well seasoned and the fries were not as good as they could be. The service was a little iffy too. Overall, it’s a good place to eat, and I’m sure that if we returned during a better time things would’ve been much better.

We are Kingman natives and have enjoyed Rod's wonderful menu and service over the years. Today was exceptional food & exceptional service! Delicious!!

The streak was not good, I don't know if it's just the way it was cooked or the quality of the meat but it was not great. They had very limited options for what you could get with the steak. Kids menu is expensive!! Don't get the kid's meat shaped like a stead, it was not good and way over cooked. Service was great!! The place is cool and very large

Dark, cozy restaurant on historic Route 66 since 1946. Steaks well cooked but cuts different than we're used to. Tender and cooked properly. Nice sized potato and salad was really well mixed and fresh. Waiter attentive but didn't pester us. Real knowledgeable.

Great food, lovely service, and very clean restrooms. It's a shame I don't live nearby or I'd definitely come back and visit regularly.

First stop Steak House. I have been hungry for Steak for a couple of weeks. We stopped in Williams for dinner. We ordered Friend Zucchini, split a ribeye steak and yum! The fried zucchini was light and very tasty. Their homemade rach was very smooth and perfect for the perfect zucchini. The ribeye was big enough for two. It was tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. I cut the steak with my butter knife. It came with baked potato salad and homemade hot rolls. We left full but not stuffed. I would stop here again and again and again.

TOO PRICEY!!!! First and last time. My steak was horrible tasted old, was tough lacked flavor. But the bread, salad and baked potato were yummy.

THE best steak I've ever had! Best salad I've ever had(dressings are made in house)! Fastest service I've ever had at a steak house. My husband got the COD fish and was pleasantly surprised that it was so big and delicious for a steak house. Overall excellent experience and to top it off its right off of OLD ROUTE 66.

I recommend this place if you're a steak person.

Waited over a hour for a sandwich we finally left no food. All the waiter said was he understood. Only 4 tables had people at them.

Great staff. Good food. Wife had a steak. I had awa huge piece fried cod. Zucchini an appetizer. Portions are great. You will not leave hungry.Dessert, was chocolate cake, dry, and blueberry pie which was overbaked.so... skip the dessert.

Something like 70 years in operation, dark but comfortable atmosphere and great steaks at reasonable prices. Located on historic rt. 66 in a really cool little town, I recommend Rod's steak house very highly.

I've come to Rod's for their exceptional prime rib many times over the last 5 years. It was always a wonderful until this stop. I am extremely disappointed with the service.The prime was seasoned well but the quality of the meat was terrible. It came barely warm, very tough to chew and I had trouble cutting through it with a steak knife. So disappointing. Baked potato was stone cold. The salad was good and their blue cheese dressing was still wonderful. I tried to get the attention of someone with no avail. Ended up eating some, paid my bill and left. Not sure I will be back.

Great steak comes with soup/salad, potato wedges/baked potato/greens, bread roll n butter UD$24-29 and great fried wings US$11 with tasty ranch sauce

Burnt on one side, barely cooked on the other. Ordered and was charged for a filet was served a top sirloin at best. A bag salad

Amazing food. My husband had the filet mignon, it was delicious. So glad we got to experience it during our visit.

My in-laws and family went here for a dinner when we were in town. Small family owned establishment is a staple in the area. Food was very good, service was great. Loved the atmosphere.

Waiting for hours just to be served basically dry beef burger paddies. Customer service was awful and it was definitely not worth the price.

Place was cute, like something out of the 60’s. The steaks were very yummy. Had to wait a little longer than I would have liked to but the steaks were worth it.

If there is a neon steer and entrance arrow, the meat better be good. I was not disappointed. The porterhouse steak was tender and juicy- no complaints on the medium rare offering. The sides were warm and delicious. The beer was cold and the decor had a retro western feel circa the late 1950's to mid 1960's. If you like branding irons and related cattle inspired items, this is the place.I shall return at a future date.

The place is very comfortable, the service is excellent the steak was amazing. We both really enjoyed the whole experience. We will definitely be back.

Rudest service ever if you planning to go there don't u will be not welcome or ask to go to somewhere else server berly speaking English. I have travel to this restaurant from Europe with my friends total disappointment.

The ambiance sends you back to an old school steak house. Menu is simplistic with only a few side dish options. The side salad was fresh and homemade. We expected much better service. We had to ask several times for the same item to be brought out.

Good steaks and salad. Really enjoyed it. With the current covid situation maybe a bit understaffed only 2 people were helping the customers. Would still go back.

Food was great, but bread was hard. Asked for another basket but was told they didn't have any more.

We found Rod's about 3 years ago and it was so good we decided to try it again. Because of Covid we looked it up to make sure it was open and saw a few of the negative reviews and thought "oh no, I hope it hasn't gone downhill". We tried it anyway and I told the host and the waitress about our past awesome experience and both made certain that this time was also incredible! The four of us had their perfectly seasoned Prime Rib and Au Jus. I usually use the horse radish but the Rib was soooo good I wanted to savor it's natural flavor and seasoning. Everyone in our party was delighted by the incredible taste AND huge 16oz portion of Prime Rib! If owner Lawrence reads this, please know that your current staff and food are just as good as before and we WILL be back! Thank you all!
